While I was researching beauty ideals I found out abouta new trend; cosmetic vaginal surgeries. I knew about the existence of it but I didn’t new it was a trend for teenage girls under the age of 18. This intrigued me and I started questioning the future of beauty and the way we see ourselves. I created a future scenario of a world were self acceptance doesn’t exist. In this scenario the vagina brace is as normal as a tooth braces. I prevents your vagina from growing out of proportion so you don’t have to do surgery. Trough a working prototype I want to open a discussionabout beauty ideals and self acceptance.
